Lumia 940 Review

Ever since Microsoft and Nokia parted ways there have been several Lumia smartphone releases; these begun from late last year, into early 2015. It is obvious that the folks at Microsoft have been busy given the expectations on the yet to be released Lumia 940. Most reviewers have it as the first smartphone to make use of Gorilla glass 4, as well as supporting high performing specs expected to establish it as one of the main contenders in a smartphone market which is already highly populated with other competing brands. It is however, important to point out that all this is hearsay and readers can expect some features to be present or missing. The smartphone is expected to be quite powerful judging from what the leaked information states. The phone is expected to have a 2.7 GHz Quadcore Snapdragon processor paired with 3GB RAM. This means that it will be able to handle anything regular users can be able to throw at it including heavy games as well. Buyers can expect seamless performance without any drag in speed. It is expected to run on the yet to be released Windows 10 platform. This is definitely enough to have many users salivating on the user experience to be created by this tantalizing combination.

Cameras

The Lumia 940 is also expected to come with one of the most capable cameras on the smartphone front. The phone will come with a 5MP front facing camera for great selfies. The rumored 24MP PureView rear camera will capable of recording a 4K resolution video at 60 frames per second. Camera lovers will definitely want to maintain their attention on this front and see whether this does materialize.

All the above is supposed to be squeezed into an attractive 149 gram package which will be 8.9mm in thickness. If the rumors are anything to go by, buyers have a lot to look forward to.
