Apple Third Gen Ipad Is No Longer Supported

It'd the goal on its back ever since it was given the New iPad moniker, and Apple is finally calling time on its 3rd generation tablet. The 2012 iPad is to be announced obsolete this month, five years after generation of the pill ended. The information comes courtesy of an internal memo sent to Apple's Authorized Service Providers and Apple employees, stating that both Wi-Fi and cellular models will probably be cut from the list of devices. Which means if you have got one of the aging tablets, Apple repair stations are no longer obligated to service the apparatus, with the exceptions being the country of California and Turkey, in which gaps apply.

IPad history. The next generations model was last iPad to feature Apple's chunky 30 pin charging connector, and also the broader bezel design which was killed off with the arrival of the iPad Air production. The New iPad was a short lived product for Apple, superseded seven months after by the 4th gen model, which packaged in a sleeker Lightning connector. It did, however, introduce Apple's super sharp Retina Display at Apple's Tablet Line - a marked improvement over any other tablet available on the market at the time. Somewhat surprisingly, the iPad 3 has actually been delivered at the chopping block before its predecessor, the iPad 2. As Apple continued to market the second gen slate as its entry degree model, it is going to be confirmed until at least 2019.
