Here a few Frequently Asked Questions that will help you the Geek to get to know us a little better.

WHAT IS FYND?

Fynd is a platform that quickly connects Geeks with people who need IT technical services. Fynd helps people around Singapore to earn extra income as Geeks.

HOW DOES FYND WORK?

1. Customers submit jobs on http://www.getfynd.com
2. We will route the work to the Geeks based on availability, skill set and location.
3. Geek accepts the job & fulfill it.
4. We collect the payment from the customer & pay the Geek.

WHAT kind of JOBS are available?

IT services, phone repair, or technical support tasks such as server configuration, router and LAN setup, installation of Windows or Ubuntu OS, removal of virus in laptop/desktops, speed up the performance of slow computers, backup of data, install NAS, setup email clients, configure WiFi connection or troubleshoot smartphone issues. There are hardware related jobs as well, such us repair of phone or laptop's cracked screen.

We will send you the job description before you accept a job. You can choose to only accept jobs that you have the confidence to perform. 

HOW MUCH CAN I EARN?

We can charge either fixed rate or hourly rate, depending on the job scope and complexity. For fixed rate, the range can range from $50 to $500 per job, where 80% - 90% of the fee will be paid to the Geeks. For hourly rate, it varies from $10/hour to $50/hour depending on the job scope, expertise and years of experience. You will be clearly informed on the amount you can earn before deciding to take up a job.

is training provided?

We expect our geeks to be skillful in their craft. However, we do provide support and share our skills to our geeks. We also encourage sharing of knowledge among our geeks in our community. Together, we learn to be better.

HOW DO I GET PAID?

We will help you collect the payment from customers and will deposit it to your account on a weekly basis.

HOW DO I BECOME A GEEK WITH FYND?

1. Apply to be a Geek via our site: http://www.getfynd.com/geek/
2. Must possess basic software or hardware troubleshooting skills relevant to your skillset.
3. Must be based in Singapore.
4. Pass a phone or Skype Video interview 
5. Fill up Geek Registration Form. A photo of yourself & your NRIC/Passport is required

CAN I TAKE UP JOBS WHENEVER I WANT?

Fynd gives you the Geek the power to manage your own schedule. You can work whenever you want to.

is there a lot of traveling involved?

We will allocate jobs to the nearest Geeks to minimize traveling time. We want our Geeks to spend the minimum amount of traveling and complete the job as fast as possible.
