How to repair LCD burn-in and stuck pixels

This occurrence is called “burn-in” and there is also an occurrence called “stuck pixel”. So what is image “burn-in” and stuck pixel how does this happen?

Image Burn-In
Image burn-in is a problem with old CRT monitor or TV but with LCD, it is less susceptible. Burn-in or sometimes called “ghost image” happens when a monitor (CRT or LCD) is showing the same or repetitive image all day and left traces of previous images on the screen. It's the same effect as when you staring an object with a static background and suddenly shift your view to a blank sheet of paper. You will see traces of the object outlines sometimes the whole object on the blank paper. That is what image burn-in is.

Stuck Pixels
Defective pixel or commonly referred to as stuck pixel is an occurrence when one particular pixel in a screen, is not changing its color to the colors to what is supposed to be. Usually represented by a dark dot or a bright dot, this occurrence happens only in LCD monitors.
